Beyond Hospitality: Creating Lasting Value for Communities and Stakeholders

A STRUCTURED JOURNEY THAT EMBEDS SUSTAINABILITY, GOVERNANCE AND QUALITY HOSPITALITY INTO ARIES GROUP’S DEVELOPMENT MODEL.

At Aries Group, sustainability is a tangible, ongoing commitment, built around measurable objectives, certifications and a strategic plan that guides our decisions over time.

ESG principles are an integral part of our approach to hotel management.
Rather than a standalone initiative, they are embedded in the way we operate, helping to shape both the day-to-day and strategic decisions of the Group.

We see sustainability as a management tool designed to enhance the quality of our service, strengthen the trust of guests and partners, and contribute to creating lasting value over time.

DCA ESG Aries Group
A Verified, Evolving Journey

DCA ESG Certifications

In 2026, Aries Group confirmed the renewal of its DCA (Dream & Charme) ESG Certifications, based on the D&C:2023 standard and subject to regular audits.

These certifications are not a static achievement, but part of a continuous journey that requires standards to be consistently maintained over time.

Our Evolution in 2026

Over the course of the year, the scope of certification was expanded to include new areas focusing on:
  • management and organisational practices
  • health and safety
  • supporting local communities and enhancing the value of the destinations in which we operate
This evolution reflects a broader vision of hospitality: moving beyond service delivery to become an active contributor to creating lasting value for local communities and destinations.

Curation Economy in the Hotellerie - Aries Group
From Hospitality to a Curated Sense of Place

Local Communities and the Curation Economy

In 2026, Aries Group launched, in collaboration with YouGov, an Observatory on the Curation Economy in the hotel industry.

The research highlights a significant shift:
the guest experience is no longer shaped by service quality alone, but also by the ability to:

  • curate and interpret the local context
  • celebrate local culture, identity and connections
  • create authentic and meaningful experiences

In this context, the hotel becomes a point of connection between guests and the destination.
This approach is closely connected to the new ESG areas focused on local communities, reinforcing the role of hospitality as a driver of sustainable development across the destinations in which we operate.

Reducing Waste, Reusing Resources, Creating Value

Circular Economy and Upcycling

Aries Group has begun exploring the potential of upcycling in the hospitality industry, with the aim of identifying solutions to:

  • reduce waste and resource consumption
  • extend the life cycle of materials
  • develop local supply chains

Upcycling is approached not only as an environmental practice, but also as a design opportunity and a driver of innovation in the guest experience.
This approach helps bring environmental sustainability and operational efficiency together, in line with the priorities set out in the Strategic Plan.

Embedding ESG into Everyday Operations

An Evolving Model

Certifications, strategic planning and research are all part of an integrated approach designed to:

  • enhance the quality of management
  • build long-term resilience
  • create lasting value for stakeholders and local communities

For Aries Group, sustainability is an evolving journey, shaped by tangible actions, robust processes and shared responsibility.
