On Sunday, August 9, the garden at Arena Pamphili will become an open-air observatory, inviting us to experience the magic of shooting stars together.

Guided by astronomers from the AstronomiAmo Association and using two telescopes, we will embark on a journey through constellations, ancient myths and fascinating facts about the universe. We will learn how to recognise the brightest stars, trace the hidden patterns of the constellations and discover the stories people have told while looking up at the sky for thousands of years.

And, of course, there will be the most anticipated moment of all: searching for the Perseids, the famous meteor shower that lights up the summer sky every year with the shooting stars of the Night of San Lorenzo.

An evening designed for adults and children alike, for astronomy enthusiasts and anyone simply looking to enjoy a moment of wonder beneath the summer sky.
